On a trip to New York in 2022, I had a vision for this piece in my head. I wanted to capture the concrete jungle how I saw it, IN PINK. It is an ode to my favorite city, a statement to myself that it's okay to try new things and give myself the freedom to do so, and a gift to my younger self that dreamed of creating art just like this. Making prints of this painting fulfilled a dream of mine and I hope that it brings you as much joy as it brought me in making it.
This print is an original, printed on card stock and spaced on a white background so that the piece is ready to be framed. The original of this print was created with acrylic paint, colored pencil, oil pastel and cotton thread.
